Day_59: Front Door

The door arrived at the crib first thing in the morning. The workers got cracking right away. Power tools are amazing. With the power router, the guy managed to precisely cut the slots in the door for the hinges within a matter of seconds.

Some hours later, at lunchtime the door is in its rightful place.

With clearance underneath for the Inovar Flooring to go. And some grubby fingerprints.

What's Happening in the Crib?

Sunday Night:
We had our first meal in the crib. Oblong Burger Daging Special with lots of sautee'd onions. Yum.
Photobucket

Only one stool, so the ladder would have to do for a table for two.

Wednesday:
Main door is scheduled to arrive.

Thursday:
Kitchen cabinets to be installed

Friday:
Bed frame to arrive.

Saturday:
We get married

Monday:
Laminate flooring gets installed

Day_55: Stuff

Sitting in our bare living hall, on the freshly mopped marble floor we waitied for the lorry to arrive.

Finally it came, with its accompanying soundtrack. A welcome sight.

We took delivery of our L-shape sofa set. It comes in 2 detachable pieces. Grey and orange colour scheme.
Photobucket

Mattress, but no bed yet. It got held up, maybe arriving on Monday.

And finally as we locked up to leave for the day, an encounter with the local wildlife.

When a House Becomes a Crib

Tomorrow, the first of our furniture should arrive.
One bed, and one sofa.
Actually, that's all the furniture we can afford for now.
Stay tuned!
So how'd you like me now?
Comments..
Just one shot for today, and that's the wardrobe getting its doors. Anti-jump sliding doors are par for the course these days.

Heads Up, Folks.

Just so y'all know,
we're now down to single digits.

You may note the Faucet Fund stands at RM3.65.
You may also note that the Designer Tap featured here is now proudly in its place on the bar counter.

NOW is the time to do something about the Faucet Fund, folks.
You all know what to do!

Day_52: The Show Must Go On

Despite the inevitable shennanigans creeping up here and there, progress continues to be made on the crib.

The marble floor gets shined up real nice
